ACCOUNTS & SPONSORSHIP REPRESENTATIVE – Yukon Territory

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Execute a call cycle at all retail and on-premise accounts that will drive sales of Yukon Brewing & Yukon Spirits, based on distribution, pricing/profitability, placement and promotion

• Establishing, building and maintaining relationships with your account list to grow your territory

• Delivery against key initiatives that will ultimately drive Yukon Brewing/Spirits’ position in the marketplace.

• Administration – collection of information from sales calls executed, customer profile maintained and updated management of weekly/monthly sales promotions/expenses accrued

• General administration focused on the field sales of all Sales Accounts

• Serves as the primary Yukon sales contact & manages daily office administrative needs & responsibilities

• Install/Replace/Update POS material at the point of sale according to established agreements with retail/service accounts, or based on brand strategy – table-toppers, posters, signage etc.

• Set up displays that have been previously negotiated with Accounts. Ensure current POS material is visible.

•  Develop annual customer plan for assigned accounts – volume and brand targets for each month/season/special events

•  Complete and update customer profile for each select account utilizing Excel workbooks

•  Observe and record all competitive activity and report according.

•  Liaising with the marketing department in coordinating all promotional executions and sales/admin support for the Yukon

•  In-field coordination of all special events, local and territorial sales and promotions; Activation of all Yukon sponsorships

•  Work closely with the Marketing Director in the maintenance and distribution of POS (wearables, merchandise, signage)

•  Sourcing of suppliers and items for special events as required by Marketing

•  Coordinate with event/bar staff regarding the sponsorship of community events – as needed

•  Coordinate with YLC and all YLC stores regarding shipments of seasonal/special release product and promotions – i.e. GWP and samplings

•  Set up & strike down of signage and promotional materials, for sales promotions and events – occasionally requires some heavy lifting

• Providing sales and support to on-premise accounts

• Administer and update Social Media and Internet Marketing

• Conduct brewery/distillery tours & tastings

• Build and support relationships with customers and accounts.

• Provide exceptional customer service

• Successfully represent the brand

• Successfully achieve sales promotion goals and objectives

REQUIREMENTS:

• Post-Secondary education in business, marketing, tourism, or related field and/or equivalent experience

• Self motivated, responsible and outgoing

• Strong communication skills; must be proactive and able to work comfortably and confidently in sales environment

• Strong customer/client service skills

• Possess a win/win optimistic attitude

• Must be available for weekends/evenings

• Strong presentations skills; not afraid to speak in front of crowd

• Ability to multitask and apply strategic thinking skills to problem solving

• Ability to work independently and deliver accurate, detailed reports

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Strong customer service background

• A team player who can handle the needs of an out-of-office based field sales position

•  Strong computer skills: demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Software

• Working knowledge of YLC regulations

• Valid Yukon Driver’s license
