Mocha Milk Stout

Style: Milk Stout

Alcohol/Vol: 6%

The word stout originated from the porter style of beers, which were dark, brown ales favoured by porters in the London in the 1700’s. The original stouts were ā€˜stout porters’, which got shortened to stout. A milk stout contains no milk, but does contain lactose. Lactose is a non-fermentable sugar, so when used as an ingredient in beer, it stays sweet and rich. To kick that up a notch, our brewers add cocoa nibs and whole bean coffee, to tip it in the direction of a mochaccino. Rich, luscious, warming, and sure to inspire another.
