Mocha Milk Stout

Style: Milk Stout

Alcohol/Vol: 6%

The word stout originated from the porter style of beers, which were dark, brown ales favoured by porters in the London in the 1700’s. The original stouts were ‘stout porters’, which got shortened to stout. A milk stout contains no milk, but does contain lactose. Lactose is a non-fermentable sugar, so when used as an ingredient in beer, it stays sweet and rich. To kick that up a notch, our brewers add cocoa nibs and whole bean coffee, to tip it in the direction of a mochaccino. Rich, luscious, warming, and sure to inspire another.
